Sylph - October 2007 : Our "Maiden Voyage" on Sylph, and we were not disappointed! Sylph was based at Hockley Heath, giving easy access to the Grand Union, Stratford-on-Avon and Birmingham and Worcester canals.

Unlike Tuptonia, which has "spread" and is also banana -shaped, Sylph WILL go down the Tardebigge flight so the journey through Wast Hill Tunnel, down the flight in record time (and pouring rain!) and on out onto the Severn at Worcester made for a very memorable and enjoyable first trip on Sylph.
