Dogs Welcome
The following all welcome dogs - or to be more precise, well-behaved dogs on leads. Many have their own dogs and/or cats roaming the premises so if your dog isn't well socialised you might be better advised to eat on board! I would also recommend that you phone beforehand, especially of you want to eat as they don't necessarily do food every day of the week.

Lovely thatched pub, full of character; very good food in bar |

Duke of Cumberland's Head |
Clifton, nr. Aynho |

Another thatched pub, 20 minutes walk but well worth it : Egon Ronay listed and very reasonably priced! Brought water for dog without having to be asked. |

Folly Pie Pub |

Lots of different pies on the menu, all with chips or potato croquettes & salad or veg. Poor choice for vegetarians though. |

Never actually found this one but spoke on the phone and they assured us the dog would be very welcome. Didn't go because when we asked what time they stopped serving food they said they didn't do food on Fridays (and it was a Friday!) Ended up at MacDonald's instead! |

Braunston |

Dogs not allowed indoors but excellent outdoor seating where the dog was welcome so we sat in the sun and enjoyed a meal and a pint there! |
