"Arts and crafts"
- a catch-all phrase which covers most of my at-home, spare time activities (as opposed to my "outside" spare-time activities, of which more later.)
I draw. I paint. I knit. I sew. I embroider. I make things. I haved three craft websites, Dianne's Craft Box, Craft Corner and Hands And Heart, which will give you an idea of the variety of my craft work. I am still (August 2011) busy with a dolls' house I am making and furnishing - the girls love playing with it when they come to visit! "Granny's House" has a website all of its own where you can follow my progress step-by-step. It will also give you a clue as to why I don't get a lot of housework done! Here's the link : Granny's House. Let me know what you think.

With regard to "fine arts," which in my case means drawing and painting, I have a web site for those too - not just my own efforts but those of all my family : Dianne's Gallery - but here are just a few samples of my own art work :

Watercolour painting |
Pencil drawing |
Oil painting |
Computer graphic |
With regard to the "computer graphic" above (of my dog Scully, in her younger and much trimmer days!) this is just a sample of the art work I can create using the computer; I use only Paint Shop Pro and my images are all mouse-drawn. It's a long, laborious process but worth the effort, and I use the same process to create my embroidery designs too (see Hands And Heart) All my web graphics are all my own work and I enjoy creating one-off web sets for individual web sites (like this one....)
